Week 18 PBID Question

Last week's question was one where even if you knew the character and the book, you still probably had to do some research to find the answer to the question. This week should be the same. You might recognize the image. Maybe you remember the author and illustrator. But do you know the answer to the question without looking? Let's see...


What are the names of the two waving dolls (the bunny and the kitten)?

    Bunny = Petal
    Kitten = Nibblets

    "We didn't know it straight away," said Xavior. We looked through our library and found some books that looked like they had the right character. We started with Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse, but it wasn't the right book. Then we looked some more. Noah found a book called Wemberly Worried. Xavior noticed that they were both written by Kevin Henkes! We read Wemberly Worried and found out that the bunny's name was Petal and the cat's name was Nibblet! About this challenge, the kids said, "This one was hard", "Nice!" and "One Thousand Thumbs Up!"

    Mrs. Jungmann's class (youngman) from Ellsworth Elementary 2nd grade thinks the answer is the cat is named Niblet and the rabbit is named Petal. Thanks
