ReplyDeleteThe girl and her Pa are going owling. They are calling out to the owl "whooo-whoooo-who-who-who" and they want the owl to hoot back. They got a surprise when the owl not only hooted back at them, they got to see the owl! They even got to stare at the owl while the owl stared back! They didn't even know how long the owl stared at them, maybe one minute, maybe 100!
ReplyDeleteThey were making owl sounds to try and find an owl. This was a question that the 2nd graders got right away! It is part of unit 1 writing in second grade! :) - Mrs. Rogus' 2nd graders
