I live in a pretty small town, but I like to visit big cities even though it doesn't happen all that much. After all, when the tallest building in your hometown is a paper mill, seeing skyscrapers is pretty cool.
Speaking of visiting big cities, that brings us right into this week's PBID question.
This page from a Caldecott Medal winning book says “Harry drove all the way to the Big City.” What is the name of that city?
London! :)

ReplyDeleteThe big city they went to was London. In London, they went to the London Zoo.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome story!! We didn't know that Winnie the Pooh was a real bear!! Thanks to Izzy in our class who owns this book and brought it for us to read. Also thanks to Mrs. Smith who found a you tube video about Winnie. We learned that Harry drove all the way to London to take Winnie to the London Zoo. We loved this story!
